Royalty Competition Info

WANTED!! 

All Boys and Girls

ages 0-14 years…..we are looking for you!!!

If you are a Smith-Green Township Resident, and are interested in being a part of the second annual Turtle Days Royalty Competition, please complete the application.  Your application must be turned in no later than June 4, 2010!

The judging is based on a point system.  There are several ways to earn points and it is very easy.  A completed application will earn you points, and the earlier you turn it in, will earn you extra points!!  Fill it out and send it in to the above address quickly!!  We require you to have a money jar (a mason jar will work, and I have some if you need one) with a 5x7 sheet of info about yourself and a  small picture attached to the sheet.  These jars will be located at the Turtle Days Information booth.  You will need to ask your family and friends to make a donation to your jar as all money donated is a point earned for you.  All money collected goes towards our Scholarship fund for a Smith-Green High School senior (our first one will be given away this May!), we are very excited about this program.  The person with the most points in each category will be the winner. 

All contestants will be introduced during the opening ceremony on Wednesday, June 16^th at 6PM at the entertainment tent in the park.  You are required to be there for this and should only take about 45 minutes.  We will be using your application information for this, so please complete all areas of this form.  Also, if you have a talent and would like to show that off, please note it on your application.

Crowning of all categories will take place during the parade Saturday June 19, 2010 at 6PM.  We will need all contestants to ride our float!!  We also would like all winners to come back the following year to crown the new royalty court.
